Versailles… Last Tango in Paris

Today was our last full day in Paris.  Next stop, home, and cars, and taquitos, and sleep.

Sooo much opulence.

Chance encounter with fellow Houstonian Yanis (see the surprise in their faces?)

Our host and hostess

Hangin’ at Aymeric

One last bit of sight seeing.

They were really there, I didn’t paste them in.

Home Sweet Home

And finally… the last Where’s Jill (in Europe).

(Hint: She’s wearing red).

Lourve and more.

A very good book seller that got me to pay waaay too much for second edition Jules Verne (Around the World in 80 Days if you’re wondering).

“Look up, there are statues everywhere!”

Walking the Lourve can be very tiring… so now we bathe our feet in the infinity pool next to the pyramid.

It’s melting… melting…

Yes… it’s me with TWO girls.  And that’s the eiffel in the back.  It sparkles at night… ooooh.

More random stuff.

1) Guy offers to let me through the turnstile at the same time as him when my metro ticket wouldn’t work.
2) Chinese owner of Japanese restaurants has long conversation with us in broken English about life in France and where the laundromat is.
3) We help a French guy learn how to use a French laundromat.
4) Dog cuts in line at a concession booth to grab a hot dog.
5) Jill keeps trying to get me to use her ex foliating cream.
